Langfuse
Editorial take
Langfuse is the observability listing we would install on a self-hosted factory. Traces are not output. Wire them to PRs or you have a graveyard of spans. MIT core; cloud is optional.
LangSmith
Editorial take
LangSmith is the polished control plane if you already pay LangChain tax. Compare it to Langfuse on open vs hosted, not on a vanity dashboard. We do not treat LangChain customer logos as evidence.
