  1. Finishing the brief — pages, sources, and a hundred listings

    Compare, best-of, case studies, and the public build log landed. Guides went from two to eight. The directory grew from five seed tools to a hundred-plus researched YAML files. CI split so vendor URLs cannot fail the build.

  2. Phase 1 — empty repo, Workers, and a runner that never started

    The site began as an empty GitHub repository. The first factory pass scaffolded Astro, five seed listings, then had to rip out a Cloudflare Pages assumption and land a Worker instead.
