Editorial take
Trae is in the directory because it is a real 2026 agent IDE with serious distribution, not because we recommend it as a factory control plane. Data-residency and ByteDance ownership are the first due-diligence questions, before model quality. No production evidence we will repeat.
Strengths

Limitations
