Editorial take
Tabnine is not a software factory. It is listed because regulated teams still buy it as the execution-adjacent assistant they are allowed to install. If you need issue-to-PR, look elsewhere. If you need “the model stays here,” Tabnine’s older enterprise motion is why it survived the Copilot wave.
Strengths

- Procurement path that predates agent-native vendors.
Limitations
- Weak factory story: completions and chat, not a loop.
