Editorial take
Qodo is a verification company that also generates code. The open PR-Agent repo is the honest artifact; the IDE product is the commercial one. Do not file a second listing for Codium or PR-Agent. Use Merge as a review signal, not as a merge gate, unless you wired it that way.
Strengths
- Public PR-Agent lineage you can self-host for review comments.
- Test-aware generation is the stated product difference.
- Covers both authoring and review, which most tools pick one of.
Limitations
- Brand trail (Codium, PR-Agent, Qodo) is easy to duplicate in a directory. We did not.
- Cloud features outrun the open agent.
- Review comments are not merge policy.
