Editorial take
Linear is the inbox a surprising number of factories already have. The product is still an issue tracker. Agent features do not replace a spec. We do not list Jira: it lacks a comparable agent-native surface we were willing to assess as first-class.
Strengths
- High-signal issues, API, and agent kickoff as a documented path.
- Used by Factory, Cursor, Trevize, and others as a connector — including this publisher.
- Triage that humans will actually fill in.
Limitations
- Closed SaaS. Not your source of truth for code.
- An empty Linear issue is still an empty spec.
- Seat pricing; confirm current plans.
