Assessment
Jules fits asynchronous issue-to-PR work on Google-hosted compute. Gemini CLI and Code Assist have separate product surfaces, and Jules exposes no local tool loop. Gemini model lock and Google-hosted execution are the key tradeoffs.
Strengths

Limitations
