Editorial take
If the factory’s signal is a web app, the sandbox is a browser, not a microVM. Browserbase is that product. It will not compile your Go service. Steal/Steel and others compete; we list this as the common hosted browser primitive.
Strengths
- Real browser sessions for agents, with an API.
- Avoids running Chrome next to production secrets on a laptop.
- Fits computer-use and QA agents.
Limitations
- Cloud browsers, not a repo workspace.
- Closed source.
- Cost and ban/proxy issues are operational, not solved by the SDK.
